Jeniffer Teran
I am a proud Latina and lifelong resident of Tyler, Texas. This city is where I’ve grown up, learned, and built my dreams. As the youngest of three siblings, I cherish the close-knit family values.
In addition to my advocacy work, I serve as a dedicated real estate agent, helping families achieve their dream of homeownership. I believe that everyone deserves a safe and loving place to call home.
I’m also a mom to a bright and energetic 9-year-old son, who brings so much joy to my life. He’s my greatest treasure and my best friend, reminding me every day of the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for our children.
A fun fact about me
I own four turtles named after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael! I brought them home after a memorable trip to Florida, and they’ve become beloved members of my family.
Why I feel inspired to be a Woman Of Hope
I believe in the power of community and resilience, especially for those who have been silenced. Having always called Tyler my home, I have witnessed both the beauty and the struggles within our community in Smith County. This is where I’ve grown and where my child is growing, and it deeply motivates me to advocate for those who need a voice. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where victims can find hope, healing, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
Community Involvement:
I am proud to serve as a board member of the Women’s Council of Realtors in East Texas, where I work to empower and support women in the real estate industry. Additionally, I am an active member of the Tyler Salvation Army, dedicating my time to help those in need within our community especially during the holiday season through the Angel Tree program.
